Judging Criteria

  • Innovative Idea
We want to see something that we've never seen before. Let your creativity shine, and build something that you're passionate about.
  • Implementation
How complete is your project? Did you tackle something complex? We want you to challenge yourself to go beyond your comfort zone, learn something new, and take on new technical challenges.
  • Presentation
Make your project shine with an awesome presentation — knock the judges socks off with something well designed, practiced, and coherant. Make sure to cover the problem that you were solving, what motivated you, and why your solution is the best.
  • Social Impact
Build something that people want. Something that impacts the world for the better. You don't need to end war and solve hunger — small impacts on the local community and individuals are incredibly important as well.
